His story

Lieutenant Francis Hubert Doyle MRCVS obtained his degree at the Royal Veterinary College, Ballsbridge, Dublin Army Veterinary Corps, in July 1916. Lieutenant Doyle obtained a commission in the A.V.C. in August. And as sent to Egypt.

The Veterinary Record reported that less than three months after arriving in Egypt, Lieutenant Doyle was kicked by a mule he was transporting, and this injury resulted in his death.
